Absolutely, just getting it read is only the first hurdle. You get all sorts behind that. Yours seems a little nuts but somehow unsurprising.

I was once called to a meeting about a script with an investor/producer, an 8 hour round trip away. He then said he didn’t want to make it because he’s only making his own scripts, but wanted to tell me in person he liked it. It was a long drive home.

The whole thing is crazy and writing for fun is definitely good advice. Beyond that it’s a lottery.
