I know there are concerns around NO2 and pregnancy, but it’s otherwise generally harmless and in common use, a few accidents aside. It’s definitely something that’s easy to abuse, but I can’t see that this will affect the abuse rates as it can be easily bought on Amazon anyway. The biggest danger seems to come from people trying to inhale directly from the pressurised container. I’m sure plenty of questions will be asked during the rest of the phase 2/3 trials. Even if it can just give people an effective and side effect-free break for a few weeks it’ll be well worth it. The short term effects are so short lived you can even drive home after. I think it’s a great thing to be studying, and I’m sure the concerns will be addressed.
