That’s terrible, no one should ever be given psychedelics without their permission.

The research is having amazing results but does exclude people who may be at risk of such things, and there’s still a lot to learn. If someone was to take a psychedelic and not know, it could be a truly horrible experience and I don’t doubt could cause horrible things to happen. They’re not to be played with. I guess that’s exactly why we need the research, to make sure these things can be available to those who need them, but the kind of thing your family member suffered doesn’t happen. I’m very sorry to hear that happened to someone and thank you for the comment, it’s important that in the excitement of the promise of these drugs, such things don’t get lost and forgotten. Thank you.
