There are still tow options here - use the desktop site on your phone browser, or get hold of a cheap old phone that won't be able to update the app. My old iPhone 6 still has the writing function on the app because it can't update. I don't know if trying to install the app on an old phone now would work or not. But desktop site on mobile seems to work fine
